The Deaf Academy are recruiting for an administrator to support one of our core areas of student administration (placement reviews or admission processes), alongside varied tasks and note taking in meetings that support our Head of School and Head of College. Based at our brand-new award-winning campus for day and residential deaf students, this is a unique opportunity to join our fantastic team and directly impact our young people’s experience and achievements.
Reporting to the Education Administration Manager, this role will provide high-quality administration and coordination support in key projects. You’ll be familiar with using Microsoft Excel and Word, ready to transfer these skills in managing our student database (SIMS). You’ll receive training and have your own development plan that enables you to learn quickly and apply this to your role. The role will also include producing written reports and minute taking when required, as well as being a friendly front-of-house support in covering Reception during any breaks. You’ll thrive in a busy, customer-centric role that enables our academy to run efficiently.
