You’ll be experienced at advising on a range of employee relations, recruitment, and development projects, having people and organisation development at the heart of all you do.
About the role
The Senior HR Advisor role is a new position for the academy, in recognising the strategic role that HR has in shaping organisation development. You’ll have extensive knowledge of HR and employment law, ready to apply it in a generalist HR role in working alongside leaders to develop and support, providing expert advice and guidance in applying HR policies. The role will be a deputy to the Head of HR, with responsibility for the main daily operational aspects of HR and working on strategic HR projects. You will have a keen eye for detail in leading on our HR System and reports. You’ll work in our small HR team of 4, line managing an Apprentice administrator. The role will be challenging and fast paced but very rewarding in seeing how your work impacts on the academy.
Our Charity is unique in providing education (School, College and Post-19) and residential care, being a specialist provision in supporting Deaf young people with additional complex needs. Although you may not have worked with Deaf people before you will be committed to learning about Deafness and British Sign Language. With our exciting new and ambitious 5-year strategic plan in place, come and join us in making a difference!
