Join Our Team and Elevate Your Career at The Deaf Academy!
Are you looking to grow your career in a dynamic charity setting consisting of a School, College, Residential & Children's Home while gaining valuable administrative experience? We’re looking for an enthusiastic HR Administrator to be a key part of our busy, passionate HR team. In this vital role, you’ll play a hands-on role in supporting our people and culture strategy across the charity. You’ll be central to a variety of essential HR tasks, from recruitment and onboarding and preparing contracts to processing payroll changes and booking training sessions. No day is the same. Your keen attention to detail will help ensure our HR operations run smoothly, making a real impact on the Academy's success. If you’re ready to make a difference while developing your skills to achieve Level 1 in British sign language in a supportive and ambitious environment, we’d love to hear from you!
About the role
This new role offers a great opportunity to step into a small, dynamic HR team and make a real impact. With a new HR system in place, we’re looking for someone organised and detail-oriented to manage essential admin tasks, work with confidential information, and support managers and staff. You'll join a team of four, reporting to our Senior HR Advisor/HR Business Partner. While the role is busy, it’s highly rewarding as you see the difference your work makes to the Academy. As a unique charity providing education and residential care for Deaf young people with additional needs, you’ll also have the chance to learn about Deaf culture and British Sign Language. With an ambitious 5-year plan ahead, join us and help make a difference!
